Matcha Base
It is essential to make a matcha paste (base) before making a tea, latte or cocktail in order to extract the flavour of matcha
1 serving – 1 cup (8oz no ice & 12 oz with ice)
Ingredient:- • Matcha: 2g
- • Hot Water: 1 tbsp
- • Additional (hot or cold) water: ¼ cup
- 1. Sift the Matcha to remove the lumps.
- 2. Add the Matcha into the cup.
- 3. Heat the water to 80°C and add 1 tbsp into the cup.
- 4. Whisk into a smooth paste (whisk in a zigzag motion)
- 5. Add the remaining water (hot or cold)
Now you have a base to many any matcha recipe!
